Akina Aloha Tours Ranked Among Top 10 Ground Transportation Firms Nationwide

MAUI, Hawaii, Mar. 20 /Businesswire - Maui based Akina Aloha Tours, Inc. was named one of the Top 10 Ground Transportation providers nationwide by industry publication Metro Magazine, January 2002.

While the terrorist attacks last year left much of Hawaii's visitor industry in distress, Akina Aloha Tours only noticed a temporary impact. "We lost some business after September 11, but it quickly rebounded and now we're enjoying strong bookings again," says Cassie Akina, Director of Sales and Operations. "To help maintain those bookings, we've enlisted the help of TC Kokua to contact travel wholesalers across the country and let them know about our services.
